I looked at Denver at 6:55 pm. The wind was moving at the speed of 14.6 mph. I think the map is very interesting because you can see how in different places the climate and the wind speed are different. I've never thought about what the wind looks like but now that I've seen it I think it looks cool. I think it looks like a tornado moving in slow motion.
I looked at Orlando, Florida because I have been there and it is so fun. I wonder if the wind speed effects the weather of Orlando, Florida? The time I looked at the wind was 7:00 PM, April 5, 2012. The wind speed was 7.7 mph. One of the features I really thought was cool was when you zoomed into an area it showed you other towns and cities. Does the movement and power of the wind change the temperature? I haven't really thought about what the wind looks like. I have a little idea because when it is cold outside you can see your breath, maybe that is what wind looks like? See you around on another break!
The city I looked at was Chicago because it is very windy in Chicago. The time I looked at Chicago it was 12.00 PM. The wind was moving 11.2 MPH.The map didn't have a lot of city's to choose. Nobody can see the wind unless it's on a map.You can also hear it.It is also very fast and very cold.
The city that I looked at is Phoenix. The time was 3:00. The average speed that the wind was moving is 11.5 mph. The top speed that the wind was moving is 35.2 mph.I think that the map of the Phoenix wind looks like like a thousand worms wiggling. I have thought about what the looks like! The city I looked at is Austin.The time was 7:00 a.m.The top speed was 29.6 mph and the average was 8.6 mph.I think the image of Austin looks like 100,000 asterodis bumping into each other.I nomally think as air swishing into each other.

I think the map was cool because you could see how fast the wind is moving and it made me feel chilly. I have thought about what the wind looks like because I read a poem about what wind looks like.
The city I looked at was New York. On April 8 2012 at 9am the wind was blowing 10 miles per hour. I never thought that it would be cool to watch a map about wind. This is a good tool for us . It would let me know when is a good time to fly my kite.

I looked at Santa Rosa. The time was 10:01 am and there wasn't much wind. The wind was moving 0.1 mph if you were close but as soon as you got farther the wind will get faster. I think this map is good to ell people how fast and slow the wind is going. Wind can look like many different things if you had the ability to see it.
The city was Los Angles.The time I looked at Los Angles was at 12:00 a.m.The wind speed is 1.7 mph.I think the map is great beacause it show s you how the wind is going.Is it fast is it slow.It is also great beacause it shows you the speed and direction of the Untied States.
The city I looked at was Seattle. Seattles wind speed 5.0 mph the time I looked at is at 1:16 its going a little slow and fast is like medium.To me the wind in Seattle looks a plant growing fast and slow.To me its kind of weird.

I looked at the Chespeake.It was 9.00 am. The wind was moving at about 10 mph. The map looked really cool because of the wind and how it went in so many directions.I have never thought about what wind looks like.
I looked at the wind map at 8 a.m. On April 11,2012 in the city of Philadelphia . The wind was very slow. It was kind of cool looking at wind from above. I have never though about what wind looks like.

I think this is very interesting website because it is shows how fast the wind is blowing all over the United states. Yes I thought about what the wind looks like and this website really shows you that.

I Looked at New York at 10:50 am.The wind was moving at speed 9.5 mph.I Think the map was very interesting, especially when u zoomed into an area, it show us speed and different direction of the United States.Wind can look like many diferent things,shapes, if you have the ability to see it.
I looked at Rapid City, South Dakota, at 4:31 PM. The wind speed was 22.3 MPH. I think this map is strange, because seeing wind on a map is like seeing clouds from space. All constantly moving, while swirling this way and that. I have thought about what wind looks like, and it was sort of similar. The wind ended in a spiral, like some of the winds, but the beginning and middle were straight lines, sometimes with a small curve.
The place I looked at was Las Angeles. The time in Los angeles was 11:00 pm. The wind was moving at the speed of 3.9 mph. I think that was very useful because then you can see the climate and speed of the wind in different places. I have never thought about how the wind looks like but now that I have i really enjoyed it.
I looked at Orlando,Florida. It was 8:00A.M. The wind speed was 5.0 mph. I think the map is awesome! I also think it's cool how it looks like the wind gets smaller the closer up you get. I also think it's cool because I never thought about how wind looks like.

The map looks different from all other maps.It looks different from other maps because instead of land there is wind.
I never thought wind would look like that I thought the wind would looked all clomped together but,it was straight lines instead. I thought the wind would look different then what I saw on the map.

The city I looked at was Denver and the wind speed was 6.0 mph. The time I was looking at it was on April 12,2012 10:00pm. I never thought about what wind looks like but it was cool to see. I thought the map was cool because of the wind images.
I looked at the city of New York at 8:00am. The date was April 13, 2012, and the wind speed was 6.0mph. this wind speed is gentle compare to other city's. I would not be able to feel this wind because it would be so gentle, and you would not see moving leaves on the tree's.

I think this map is wonderful, because it shows the the winds movements and thats really cool because you don't see this kind of stuff every day! I never really thought about how the wind moves because I had never really thought about it before I think its really interesting. And this map gives me a great picture!

I haven't thought about what the wind looks like but on the map it looks pretty cool.
I looked at all of the cities because I thought the map was interesting. I looked mostly at the area of Omaha because there was a lot of wind there. I was looking at the area of Omaha at 11:50am. The wind was moving 18.6mph at that time. I think the map is cool because when you click on an area more cities apear and I like when the lines thicken when the wind gets heavy. Yes I thought of what the wind looks like. When I thought of it one day it looked kind of like the map.

I started looking at the wind from above picture at 3;50. I focused on Dallas, I noticed that all the wind was coming from the bottom border of the Dallas and coming up through the top border of Dallas. At the time the wind was running at about fifteen miles an hour near the bottom border, and about ten miles an hour near the top border of Dallas. I liked the map because it was fun to look at, and it told you how windy it is outside.
I have never wondered what wind looks like.
I looked at Las Vegas witch had a 5.2 mph wind speed at 7:52 am.I noticed that all the wind from Las Vegas was going into this 14.3 mph wind storm.It covered all of Nevada and most of central USA.All I can say is that The middle of the USA is in for a surprise. I really liked this map because wind is very cool; It looked like the map was the grey fur of a dog and you where stroking his fur.

I looked at Dallas,Texas at 7:00, the wind was going at 13.7 miles per hour. I thought the map was most interesting. I think wind would look like big pieces of air crunched up blowing through the air.
The time that I looked at Dallas Texas was 10:09AM. The wind speed was moving 15.7 MPH.I think this map provides the difference between wind speed and the time.Because the wind is invisible I can not think of what it looks like.I can only feel its effects.

I looked at the wind speed in Los Angeles on April 14th.The wind speed was 8.8 mph there. I looked at it when it was 2:00. I think the map is cool. I think its cool because when you look at the map you could see the wind moving. I never thought how wind ever looked.

I looked at Minneapolis at 11:40 am. The wind was not very fast, it was 7.7 mph. I think the map was very cool because you got to see the swishing wind. It looked like it was raining upside down! Sometimes when it is windy I want to know what the wind looks like.
I looked at New York. The wind speed is about 3 miles per hour. When you look at the wind from above it looks weird(it looks like hair). The wind is mostly straight. But with some curves. The time of day was at noon. The date is April 13.
I looked at Des Moines, Iowa. I picked it because the wind was going really fast. The date was April 15 2102 at 4:00 pm. The wind speed was 25.6 mph. It was interesting because it actually showed the wind moving and showed the wind speed of the place.
FERNANDO L.M I look at Chicago. at April 15 4:56pm 2012 .it's wind speed is 20.1 mph but i mostly don't if it's 20.1mph or 30mph it look's like the wind really moves really fast.Because when I go out side it does not really look like it goes in fast speed how it look and shows on the wind map.I really think some wind speed are same from other pleas.In some world's in the area of Chicago.
I looked at Denver because the Bronkos are one of my favorite football teams. The time I looked at Denvr was 5:00. The wind was moving 14.3 mph at 5.00 and the wind looked like it was going pretty fast. I thnk this map was really acurate on the wind and how it moves. Whenever I need to check how fast wind is moving I can just look at the website. In fact I actually have thought about what wind looks like. I've always thought of wind as cool breezy air that we breath and thats the way I might always think of it.

I looked at Nashville, Tennessee at 7:00 PM. April 15th. The wind speed just crept over 11 miles per hour.
I never really thought about the wind but the map was really cool.
I looked at Boston at 7:47 pm. The wind speed was 5.7 mph, so it is not moving very fast. To me the map looked like a bunch of shooting stars.

I looked at Chicago because thats where alot of my family lives. It was 5:00 PM. The wind speed is 21.9 mph. Thats pretty fast! I hope my cousins are O.K.... The map just looked like a bunch of pasta being spit out of a black hole and being made into rivers.

I’m looking at Oklahoma City. It looks like it has less wind than other places I think. I’m in Germany right now. It is 10:00am in Germany but it’s 3:00 am in America. The wind speed is 5.5 right now. I think this map is really cool because how it shows all the information about wind in different places. I really think it is amazing. No I have not thought about wind and how it looks in that context. I really liked this assignment and hope we can do it again!

The city I looked at Pheonix, Arizona. I looked at Pheonix at 5:00. The wind's speed was 2.7 mph. I think this map is interesting because knowing the wind's speed is very useful and very cool. I have never thought about the wind's speed before.
First I looked at the whole map all the wind was going into one spot. That's interesting because Chicago is on Lake Michigan. I liked to look at the wind patterns and the way some were faster than others. I wish the map explained why some places are windier than others. When I was little, I used to ask my mom to turn off the wind. But I couldn't really picture what it looked like.

I looked at Dallas. I think it's very interesting looking at wind from above. Dallas was 4.4.It reminds me of a time I saw a big swarm of ants running all over the place.
I looked at Madison. It was 2:00 when i looked at it.It was 10.5 mph. I think the wind looks like raindrops going the wrong way. It think it is very interesting that people can just go on a website an look at the winds and what way they are going!
