Today is Friday, February 1st. I am out of the building today so Mr. Waisome is covering you.
You will not be working on China research today. Instead I have a different, yet related, assignment for you...
Below you will find 5 videos about China.
You will watch all 5 videos. They all show different aspects & perspectives of China. Each video is roughly 3-4 minutes long so there is plenty of time to watch them all.

- written with proper spelling, grammar, capitalization and punctuation
- at least 2 sentences reflecting on each video (5 videos, 2 sentences each means a total of at least 10 sentences worth of reflection)
- a few sentence description of your favorite video
- what about your favorite video stood out so much?
- now that you have seen different perspectives, what are your thoughts on China?
- after seeing these videos, have your thoughts or ideas about China changed from what they were before you say the videos?
- at least 1 summary/conclusion sentence
Please read all the instructions before watching the videos or posting a comment...

I think the first video is pretty good because it goes by the speed of light and the speed of light is rare. I also think the first video is good because it shows all the good sights in either Shanghai or Beijing. I think the second video is good because it shows the rural side of China and it shows how it's not as crowded as within the cities. My other thought about the second video is it was very inspiring. I got all these different ideas while I watched it. My first thought about the third video is it showed how far you would have to walk and how much time you would need to grow that kind of beard. My other thought about the third video is it showed a lot of places you or your friend mite like to go. My first thought about the fourth video is that it was cool to watch those divers come down the side of the mountain. My second thought about the fourth video is it was freaky because it was like you were the person flying from the monorail. My first thought about the fifth video is it was cool to see all the different buildings in China. My second thought about the fifth video is its cool to look at moments that have happened in China.
My favorite video is the first video. I like the first video better than any other video because it was cool how it traveled by the speed of light. I also think it was cool when it was recording cars blow past at the speed of light. The cars looked like streams of light. The thing that has stood out in that first video was how it went by the speed of light.
My thoughts on China know are its a beautiful country, it has lots of large buildings, and its a popular country. My thoughts on China have not changed.
In the first video it shows how China's urban city's looked at night and in the day. In the second video it shows how the rural parts of China looked in the day and night. In the third video it shows this man taking pictures at different places and growing a long beard in 1 year. In the fourth video it shows people jumping out of monorails with puffy suits. In the fifth video it shows moments in China.
Those videos were very nice.
I learned a lot from the videos.
They were really fun to watch.
My favorite video was the one with the guy who grew a really long beard. It was my favorite because I think that it was interesting to see somebody do something so impressive. I like the other ones to, though. The first video was nice, because it is interesting to me for some reason just to see what normal people do everyday. The tower was with the lights was also impressive.
Also, in general, I liked the music. My favorite song, was the music from the first video.
I am pretty impressed that those people were brave enough to skydive above those mountouns. You could not even get me on the tram!
I think the first video is very cool because it makes things go super fast. I also like it because of the things you see. I also like the second one because it looks really peaceful. I also like the music in the video. The third one was amazing. It was so cool because of the backgrounds and the places he went. The fourth one was pretty awesome. It was cool seeing a guy flying in a wing glider suit, but it also was cool looking at the mountains at that altitude. I also liked the fifth one because it was nice watching all the things that happen in China.
My favorite has to be the third one. All those pictures and places he went were very cool. It was around China stop-action. I am very into stop-action.
My thoughts about China right now is that China is beautiful country even though there's some pollution. The cities and rural ares are all amazing.
These videos where fantastic. Some of them were inspiring. But they all were amazing.
I think The Longest Way is my favorite video because the time laps make it look so cool.
I think the fourth video was funny because the guy in it was acting very silly. All-in-all, I liked them. they showed me alot about china. It may help me with other China stuff that I may need to do.
My favorite video was the time-lapse nature video because it reminded me of some of my own vacations. Before my class started studying China and before I saw these videos, I always thought that China was all ancient and really really modern, like Shanghai. Now I will always know that China was and is like that, but it is also just a normal country. I really liked the videos.
My favorite video was "The longest way." That was my favorite because I really liked the way that his beard grew so long and lots of different things happened to him in the pictures and videos. In the one " Nature time lapse" I think it was very cool because of the clouds. I like "Nature time lapse" very much. I also like "A tour though China" a lot, I like it because of all of the cool buildings. My favorite building was the one that looked like you could only go up a couple of floors but it was much taller and it lit up at night with lots of stripes. I think that "Flying though the chinese mountains" as very cool because of all the different points of view. I think that "Moments in china as very cool because of all the speed.
The beginning of the first video was kind of boring, but when you get to the part about Shanghai it gets really epic. I like the part of the first video in Shanghai were there are all the buildings. The second video was cool, but to me, the music was cheesy. My favorite scene of the second video was when they show the ice mountain and stuff like that. The third video was my favorite because you can see the guy's beard growing. I also like the third video because it is so amazing that the guy walked all that way. The fourth video was epic because the guy glided from that high point. I also like it because at one point, it shows a white puppy. The fifth video to me is exactly like the first one. It shows the same thing, people eating, then a city.
Otherwise, I enjoyed it.
A tour through china
i think A tour through China is vey fascinating because it feels as if you are going through China at the speed of light and that is very cool because it is very hard to do that.
The nature of China
I think The nature of China is also very cool because you see the " forgotten" parts of China witch are very rural.
A walk through China
A walk through China is my favorite one because he
try's to wal from Beijing to Germany and grows a long beard and has funny little captions at the bottom.
Flying through the Chinese mountains
i thought that one was cool because you got a great view of China.
China moments
This one was cool because you really saw moments in China.
The first one which was called "A Tour Though China" I liked how at first it was normal speed but then it turned to time lapse. Also because you could see the bright neon colors of Shanghai. The second one which was called "The Nature Of China " I liked because instead of seeing the big city of China you could see the nature of it. Plus i really liked it because the air looked so clean and i really felt like i was in the nature of China. The third one which was called "A Walk Though China i liked because it was also time lapse. Plus you could really see him growing a beard. The fourth one which was called "flying though the Chinese Mountains i liked because I felt like i was also flying.
Those videos were very nice. I learned a lot from the videos. My favorite one was the one when the guy got a haircut. My second favorite was the nature one. My third favorites were the ones below. I didn't like the first one at all. But they were all very fun to watch.
A Tour Through China is really cool because the buildings in Shanghai are cool because it's all light up and there are colors everywhere. In parts of the video the person is on a motorboat and the lights are on the bridges and it looks really cool. The Nature of China is very interesting. It is also amazing because in one part it looked like a explosion happened.
I think the first Video is pretty cool because of all the lights and how fast it goes. But my favorite part about the video is when it starts to go the speed of light which you don't see a lot.
Well However the second video is more about nature/mother nature, my favorite part when you played the video was the music......................................................
I think that my favorite video is the first one because it shows things in china yet in an interesting way
The second video is not very interesting because it just shows nothing but the sky which is sometimes interesting but not exactly in this video
The first one was my favorite because there were cool shots of bright lights. It was going really fast and it looked like if you didn't know it was time laps before you watched it, by the end you would know.
I liked the second one because it was very beautiful and it was the only video that was of rural China.my favorite part was the mountains.
The third video was very cool because you could actually see the mans beard growing. There were also some funny moments like when his girlfriend was going to kiss him.
I liked the fourth one because it was amassing how high they were. I don't know how they filmed it!
The last one looks like it was drawn. It looked like regular life in China.
My favorite video called the longest way.I liked that video because it showed how the guy grew his beard.I also liked the video moments in China and a walk through China.I liked those videos because there were cozy. The video I liked the least was the video was the one with nature.
I really liked the first video because I thought it looked real cool with all of the blazing neon lights in Shanghigh. In the the second video I realized how beautiful China looks. The clouds and the mountains look so beautiful.
I did not really like the first video, I did not understand it.It was kind of boring.
The first video was a time lapse in Shenzen, Ghangzou and Shanghai. It was pretty amazing but is only my second favorite video. The second video was a nature time lapse and was cool but not that cool. It showed lots of clouds and landscapes. The second was a time lapse of a man walking to Germany from China and the man's hair growing. It was boring because it just showed a man's face. The fifth was almost like the first video except it was not a time lapse. Another way it was different from video #1 was it probably was only one city.
The fourth video was my favorite. First it showed a city and stuff like a Buddhist temple and restaurants. Then you got to mountains that looked very dangerous. The video showed you around a mountain and then it went into a thing like a ski lift and 2 men jumped out in huge jackets. The jackets are like gliders and 1 has red smoke coming from the back and they both have cameras on them. The thing that stood out was that when it was showing the gliding it showed a high up view of wild China. You came dangerously close to trees and was so awesome because you were soaring over mountains, twisty roads and tons of trees.
Before I watched the videos I thought China was a bunch of tall buildings with neon, pagodas, rivers and factories. Boy, I was wrong! It's awesome buildings, planes, Mountains, jungles and deserts also! I know now that China has more in it than I thought possible! Thank you for reading my comment and goodbye until next time!
Well I thought all the videos are interesting and cool but my favorite was the guy did not shave.I also thought the one ware the guy was in a gliding suit and he went gliding off of the mountains.I also thought the videos architecture was amazing and super cool.
The 5th one which was "Moments in China" I liked because it was filmed when the event was really happening.
My favorite video was "The Nature of China". I really liked it because in the nature the air is not as dirty and foggy as the air in the city. The air is clear and not as polluted.
My thoughts on China is that it is very elegant.
Plus very pretty.
My thoughts are not different.
My favorite videos were the 1st and 4th because they looked really cool.
This is my comment to continue from my first comment.
The music makes it sound much much better!
my favorite video is the 4th video because i think sky diving is cool especially with those red flares!
The videos were very cool. The videos have a lot of action. The time laps go fast and fast is cool. My favorite one was The Longest way because the time laps are going so fast and goes long.
I really like the first video because it starts out in normal life than it goes into time lapse and travels at the speed of light.I also really liked how it filmed three different parts of China instead of just one.
I really liked the first video because I thought it looked really cool in Shanghigh with all the blazing neon lights and it looked even better as a time lapse. The second video looked really beautiful.
My favorite video was the 1st because Shanghai looked really cool in fast-motion. The beginning of the 1st was kind of interesting.
The 2nd I found a little boring. The last was really boring.
My 2nd favorite was the 4th.
What I thought about the first video was that well, I thought it was boring not much happened in it. I just saw different places in China.
my favorite video was the fourth one. It showed people sky diving out of lifts. It was cool how the people glided so smoothly.
Before I watched these videos I thought china only looked like NY but there is actually a lot of country like places.
I think the first video was epic because it had really cool pictures of shanghai. the second video was boring because it was just pictures of mountains. The third show was alright but it was to ordinary.the fourth was awesome because it showed two guy's sky diving from colossal mountains and the fifth was average.
My favorite video was the first one. In this video it has speed of light and it showed real people not actors and actresses. I like this video because it showed Shanghi. Shanghi is beautiful. It was cool when it showed McDonald and the woman hitting the kids nose. The first video showed people eating and people traveling. It also showed people texting and people walking. The first video was on how people lived. It also showed all over Shanghi. The forth one was showing someone skydiving. It showed China from above. The second oe showed the beach and the country. it showed clean air and it was not noisy. the third one was about someone who walked from Beging to Germany. He grew a long berd. But my opinion is that Mr.casal could grow a longer one.
Know my thoughts on China is it's a lot like New York. I think that because it has cities like New York. It also has trains and it's crowed. My thoughts on china before I saw the videos were its clean and it has clean air and it's not crowed. As you can see I was wrong.
My summary on the videos is the they all show parts of China and they all show how people live.
I really liked the videos especially the one where you're zooming through China because you get to see epic building with awesome lights. the other one that has that guy that grows a mighty big beard is kind of interesting but I think mr.Casal could grow a larger beard.
Video 1:
I like the first video because the cars, buses, and taxis all look like they are going as fast as light! Really the cars, buses, and taxis in china don't go as fast as light yet. The maker just made the pictures he took go by fast. It would by cool if the vehicles in china could go as fast as light. In the "CHINA" video, they showed a bunch of lights in the night [which I love].
Video 2:
In this video called "Nature TimeLapse in China" it showed a lot of nature.
On video 1 I see a man painting flowers and dragons on a tea cup.I see two men playing tennis in a open area.
On VID 2
I see a big giant forest in china.I see the clouds going over the mountains and it lookes like a Valcano.
On VID 3
I saw a man going every where with a video camera.Isaw the man behing a water fall.
I see alot of forest.I also see the guy sky diving.
VID 5
I see a temple and alot of people are going there.
This place in china looks just like Manhahan. Video four is my favorite. I liked seeing the guy sky diving. The red smoke shooting up from behind him it was so cool.Right when he was about to hit the ground he took out his parachute.
Most people that live in China look very poor. From the looks of it china looks very big.
My Idea of has not changed. China is very big and lots of people live there.
The second video was the opposite of the first video. Instead of showing all the modern places in china they show the more rural parts, all the green, landscape and nature.
The third video was very interesting to watch a man walk across China by the speed of light. But I would never want to do that.
The fourth video was my favorite because it was so cool to watch, the men sky diving were so cool especially with the red smoke coming out. Just watching them made me scared but it was really cool
In the fifth video it was really cool to watch the switch from time lapse to regular and back again. In the video it was mostly regular life in China being caught on camera.
