I think it is possible for a person drawing that picture on an I pad. It didn't really change my mind but I is still cool. It won't change my mind if I see another example. I think it is really cool to draw that on an I pad. To me it is mind blowing. It is possible to draw that one thing on an I pad. It is so realistic to do that with a finger.
Question 1:
At first, I thought it was fake. I have seen many pictures and movies with Morgan Freeman and Kile Lambert's picture looked like it was just copied and pasted, then he did some tweaking to make it look real.
Question 2:
Looking at the hands on video, I totally changed my mind about it being fake. I say this because it shows that you can actually zoom in and do all the tiny details.
Question 3:
If the picture of the cat or Morgan Freeman was exactly accurate I wouldn't believe any of it. Some artists can't even draw something exactly, so with the iPad, it's lees likely.
Question 4:
I think it is possible but would take a lot of work and patience.
I think it is possible to create that drawing of Morgan Freeman. Only if you know how to draw that well on the IPad. But it is believable. It didnt change my mind but to me its still cool and awesome. Well either way if you see it the way it started out with blank paper. Though I dont think it will change my idea.
I do think it is truly possible to create that drawing only using a finger and an iPad. It also does not change my thinking when I see his hands working on that cat sketch. It makes me believe even it more and I can see how it is done. My idea of possibility has grown. Technology has grown. I think the artwork was amazing. I think as technology grows, art will grow, too.
HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!!
I believe that creating such a realistic drawing is physically possible. I know this because I have an app like this on my mother's iPad. If a person can draw a simple line on an iPad, then a person can also create an abnormally life-like drawing. My opinion doesn't really change, just because the hands are shown. I do however think that now, anything can be sketched out on an iPad. From a tyrannosaur to a bird, anything can be created. After reading the article, I still believe that the image is very real. All you really need is surgical precision and an iPad.
I think that the first video would be possible to create on an iPad, but like the video said it definitely had to have took over 200 hours. The artist probably also used many different tools such as maybe an iPad pen to create this amazing piece of artwork. I feel the same about the second video, however I feel slightly uneasy about the second one because of the brief pauses.
To answer question 1,yes I do. The human is always advancing in making such beautiful art such as those two. Answering questions 2 and 3 would be no to both. Instead,I now have a stronger opinion. For the final question, I believe that I could even do that, after all, one day you are the dumbest kid in the class, the next the most smartest person on the planet!
At first with the first video I thought that this had to be a fake. This picture he painted on the I Pad looked exactly like a image of Morgan Freeman. Plus, he would not even show his hands. That was little suspicious. I have never seen a app that makes your paintings that good. For the second video I was half way convinced. It did change my opinion that I could see his hands because then I knew that he was actually painting it. Also, I saw all the tools he was using and colors so thought it must of been a real app. If I saw another video I would probably me fully convinced because if this was a fake there would not be three videos showing this. Last for the article and 2 videos I was fully convinced. They did a test and there were only some pixels that were exact as the picture. I think it is possible to create these pictures and I would love to purchase the app on my own iPad. Have a happy new year and Merry Christmas!
Jaela A
I think it's cool that only one touch can crate something amazing on the Ipad. Drawing a cat on the IPAD was so amazing and wonderful and awesome! Even though it took 7 minutes and some seconds. Merry Chistmas and you all have a Happy New Year!
Question 1: At first, I didnt think it was possible to make that on a iPad. This is because it is to realistic. It basically looks like a mirror that is right in front of Morgan Freeman.
Question 2: Does it change your thinking now that you can see his hands on the iPad? No, it does not. This is also because, when I saw the video of Kyle Lambert sketch of the cat. I looked a little suspicious because of the brief pauses. It felt like he cheated.
Question 3: I dont think that another example will change my opinion on it, because I read the article and it still didnt persuade me.
Final Question: I thought that the two videos were really amazing. But I dont think it is real to do that on a iPad. Cause that kind of electronic cant be that much powerful. As I said, I think an iPad is to powerful for making a powerful artwork as that.
MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I think that it is possible that the man drew Morgan Freeman with an iPad because I have seen people do drawings like that on computers in my mom’s office. Plus the video shows you the steps. When I watched video number two it made me believe he actually did do it more because it shows his hand. It would not change my mind if I see another example. The article supports my original opinion because the man used the test app, and it looks like it’s a real drawing. I think that the drawings he did on the iPad are awesome!
Q 1: I do think it is entirely possible to create such an advanced drawing on and Ipad. After what technology has come to in the last decade, next they could be cooking dinner on an Ipad.
Q 2: It does not change my thinking seeing his hands. Although, as Riselly said, it did fell like he had cheated with the pauses, even though he really didn't.
Q 3: No, my idea of possibility does not change seeing the last video of the two. I also noticed before the second video started, Kyle Lambert was the artist in both videos.
Q 4: Even though two videos, and an article have been watched an d read by me, my opinion does not change. After the evidence shown in the article and the super hight-tech app showing the identical parts of the picture compared to the drawing, it's kind of obvious that the drawing was actually drawn on an Ipad.
Merry, Merry Christmas!!
Question 1: I do think it is possible it is just really hard and amazing to think that it is real. nowadays there is crazy amount of technology there is in the world that someone would have the idea to create and build something out of this world.
Question 2: The hand do make me believe more that this is real but it is still drawn from a amazing artist I imagine if a two year old was on the video my thought would probably be different.
Question 3: Like I said this is a pro artist i would like to see two of the same artists then two of a different artist.
Question 4: that article is very convincing it seems that since the painting has only a few alinements it sounds like the app, drawing, painting is real
Q:1 First of all I thought that the picture of Morgan Freeman was a fake and Kyle Lambert just attached the picture to the drawing app, but as I watched both the movies it showed me that he had drawn a picture of Morgan Freeman and that is really cool.
Q:2 When I saw his hands on the iPad I knew that he didn't use a picture from the internet, he drew with his hands. I could not believe that he could draw such precise drawings of things and people.
Q:3 If I saw another one of those drawings I wouldn't say he copied it I know he drew it by hand. It would be so awesome!
Q:4 Now I know that anything is possible to draw with an iPad or any other electronic device. Tech has changed the world and made it a better place.
I think it is possible to create a drawing on a iPad because they are lots of good apps that let people draw paintings that look real. When I saw the Morgan Freeman painting it did not look real because I did not see the painters hand, but when I saw the painting of the kitten it looked real because I saw the painter hand. If I see a another finger painting that looks real I may change my mind that the Morgan Freeman painting was real. I think it is possible to create realistic images with just a finger on a iPad.
Question 1: No, I do not think that Kyle Lambert could have made this painting on an iPad. I bet it would be hard to do on paper, so I think it would be even harder to do on an iPad.
Question 2: No, I do not think that Kyle Lambert can make this painting on an iPad either. I think that the painting is too complex to do on an iPad. It would sound more reasonable to me if he made the painting on paper.
Question 3: My thoughts on Kyle Lambert's paintings won't change unless he paints a simple picture.
Question 4: After watching the 2 videos, and reading the article I think that realistic pictures can be made, but in a long time period.
I think it is possible to create such a masterpiece on just an iPad.
Actually, seeing his hand doing all the work just made me believe it even more. Well, before both videos I never new that it was possible to create such stupendous artwork on an iPad. Now I know that such cool things like that can actually be done. I definitely do think think it is possible to do something so realistic with a finger and an iPad. Judging by the second video he looked like a very talented artist and he showed me that he was capable of doing such work on the Morgan Freeman finger painting.
I do think it is possible to do that these are the reasons why
1.well the ipad was not made to draw on it but it does not mean that you can not draw good on it
2. i know that Kyle Lambert did do the painting cause you see it with your eyes
3. i know it is possible to draw like that you need to have skill and courage
4. that is why i know that it is possible to draw very nice and that it is possible to draw stuff that look very real
I do think it is truly possible to create that Morgan Freeman drawing with only an iPad. It does change my mind that in the second video I could see his hands on the iPad because on the Morgan Freeman drawing I couldn't see Kyle Lambert's hands, so that makes me believe less that the Morgan Freeman drawing was only created by using an iPad. My idea of possibility changes seeing another example because in the second video I saw Kyle Lambert's hands drawing the kitten. Having watched those 2 videos, and read the article I think it is possible to create something so realistic with just a finger and an iPad because Kyle Lambert drew that kitten in the second video.
I think that you can make something very realistic on an ipad. It does look like a photo from the internet. If you pay attention you will see the Morgan Freeman art is constantly changing. So yes I do think that this drawing can be made on an ipad. When I saw the hands it changed my perspective because then I saw the hands move all around the screen to choose the color for the cat art.
Yes, this makes me think that the Morgan Freeman video is real. At first I did not know if it was real or not. Also, because I saw the hands in the cat art video.
Yes, It is possible to create something so realistic because in the article I saw that the color of the skin was lighter and one was darker. At first I was suspicious if it was real. Then, when I saw the hand in the second video and I knew it was real.
At first I thought that it was fake because it looked so fake, and I thought that he just copied and pasted it and did somethings to make it look real. When I saw him do all of the little details I know it was not fake. He showed me that he could do such work on a Morgan Freeman finger painting. I think it is possible but it would take a lot of work.
Question 1:I didn't think you can actually create a drawing like that on a iPad.I didn't see his hands like in the second one. Maybe it is possible to do some thing like that on a iPad. Maybe it was just the app that he was using that made it a masterpiece.Question 2:It does change my opinion now that i see his hands. Now i see him fiscally doing the great piece of art work on his iPad.Question 3: YES this new movie really changed my mind about this picture. This is a new and more advanced way to make such art work should be discovered. Seeing this is possible I know that its not fake.
Q1:To be honest with you, I believe that it is definitely possible to draw a picture like that on the Ipad. I do not think it is easy, but I do think it is possible.
Q2:These videos totally change my thinking. I had no idea what kind of things you can do with the Ipad.
Q3:This definitely changes the possibilities seeing these people actually do it.
Q4:Yes, it is!!!!!!!!!
Q 1: At first I thought that the first video was totally fake, that Kyle Lambert just attached the picture to the app.
Q 2: The second video really changed my thinking because it shows you his hands and you actually see how he uses his tools and colors.
Q 3: If I saw another video of this it would probably convince me, but maybe not totally.
Q 4: The article and the 2 videos at the end convinced me for sure. They fired up the Black Pixel's Kaleidoscope app and only a few pixels matched up precisely. I think it is possible to create these pictures.
Q 1: I do not think that Kyle Lambert could have made that painting on an iPad. It would be very hard to do on paper, so on an iPad would be ever harder. At first I thought he simply just copied and pasted the image.
Q 2: By seeing the hands in the second video, it completely changed my thinking about the art. Seeing the hands made it seem very possible to create such amazing art.
Q 3: My idea of the art mostly changes my thinking. By seeing the hands I was more convinced than the first video.
Q 4: I believe that it is possible to create this art on an iPad. I think that it would take a huge amount of time. However, I think that it would still be possible.
A #1 According on what I saw, I think it's unusual to see a person that it is a very good in drawing on a iPad and in a app that you can download for your self. Also I think it takes alot of concentration to do such art. So for my opinion it is possible.
A #2 Now my thinking is even more sure about the drawing with the IPad. I think that person who drew this is the a person that has alot of skills.
A #3 I think I don't need to see anymore stuff to convince me that the painting is a treasure.
A #4 I think it is possible to do a drawing with your finger in a iPad that is so hood, I know it's possible because that person did it in the front of my face.
Yes, I think it is possible to make a realistic drawing on an I Pad. The first video didn't really have evidence, but the second had proof because he was using his hands. If I saw another one it will probably give me more proof. Yes from all of these videos and the article I think That it is possible to create a realistic drawing on an I Pad. I am going to experiment to see if I could create some art work on my I Pad. By the way I have to get an I Pad.
I think it could be possible to create that drawing on the I Pad. Only if you know how to draw that picture with out the I Pad but I think if they let you speak to the I pad it could be a possibility for people who don't now how to draw if they know how to give commands.
Yes I think its possible to do art on the Ipad because he did it with his hands. Also nothing is impossible. If he copied and paste how did he start from the beginning shading around it. This is my thinking.
I truly think it is possible to draw with only an iPad because it will take skills, practice and time. The video doesn’t change my answer. The video doesn’t change my idea because it just proves my answer. I think the videos and the article were very cool. I think it will be possible to draw with an iPad. ☺
Question 1:
When I first saw the morgan freeman video, I thought it was very hard to believe that such a masterpiece would be created with the average human finger.
Question 2:
When I saw the Kitten video, that definitely changed my mind. seeing the fingers made me trust the artist (Kyle Lambert) that he created the masterpiece and the drawing/sketch was not a fake.
Question 3:
My opinion of Kyle Lamberts Morgan Freeman drawing/finger painting changed when I saw the other example that we were given. It changed my opinion and my perspective of the drawing because of the fingers that make the make the drawing seen more "real"
Question 4:
Watching the two videos and reading the article, I think that it it very possible to make such an extraordinary piece of art. The Kaleidoscope app really showed me that the drawing was not a fake and Kyle Lambert did really draw a portrait of Morgan Freeman. Also, I saw some differences between both pictures such as color, the sleeve was sort of off, and one was lighter than the other.
I do think it is possible to draw on a ipad perfect. But you would have to really look into the art to draw like that especially on that kind of technology. But it would be easy though because lets say you drew the picture with the stylus it could come out exellant. Also you have everything you need in the palm of your hand for example shading, coloring, painting, and sketches.Plus you wouldnt have to deal with getting dirty. So this is a possibility.
#1- yes I because learned a lot from it and I learned how to
draw on the ipad
/t
#2 no it did not change my mind
#3 no it stayed the same
#4 yes I do think it is possible to create a imuge of the man
At first it seemed amazing that you could paint such a good picture with just an iPad. Whenever I paint with technology it just looks like a blob of color. But it was probably just one of those things that seem impossible but a few people can do it. After I saw the second video it seemed like he had used amazing technology to help him. Then I wondered if technology had painted the picture for him. After reading the article it seemed like he had done a amazing work of art.
Happy Holidays !
I believed that the first video might be a fake but, then, in the second video, I saw his hands at work and it completely changed my thinking. Now, I know that it is possible to create a very realistic picture on an iPad with your finger. The pauses in the second video roused my suspicion though.
1. I do think it is possible to create the morgan freeman finger painting but it would take lots of skill and patience and you would need the right app to make it.
2. Seeing the persons hand on the ipad just made me more sure that that you can make it on the ipad
3. At first I thought that very few people could do it but when I saw the second one it change my mind If you practice a lot and are patient you could do it.
4. yes if you had time patience and a ipad and that app you could do it.
I at first was a bit skeptical about this so called most realistic drawing ever but then once I saw the second video and read the article I thought that it is definitely plausable. Kyle Lambert probably didn't lie because with the kaliedescope app there were only a few pixels in the exact same spot.
Question 1: Yes I believe that it is possible to create the Morgan Freeman Finger Painting with only an iPad. Both simple and complex drawings are comprised of lines and dots. While Morgan Freeman drawing is very detailed, an artist with the proper skill, patience and time could create that image.
Question 2: No it does change my thinking as I thought it was possible to create the Images with only an iPad. Still Kyle Lambert’s video was very impressive and informative.
Question 3: After viewing Kyle Lambert’s process, I have a better understanding of how to create a realistic drawing that looks like a photograph.
Question 4: The article states evidence that Morgan Freeman Finger Painting is real. While the original photo and the iPad drawing looks the same to the naked eye in reality, they are different when compared with an app that compares pixels between the two images. Technology can provide tools that allows artists to make more detailed pieces.
For my first question is yes .My second question is I think it ispossible to do it now that I saw his hands but I wonder how he did that and it looks so amazing.Nqw that I think of it I totaly want one.My other example is that I think it is possiple to do that on an ipod.It is awesome.I that I read the article and the two videos I think it is possible to do a drawing like that if I had an ipod I could draw anything I want.
I totally believe that it is possible to draw something that realistic on an ipad. I have searched the app on the app store. I have seen what people can do on procreate. now that i see Kyles hands, i know that the drawings he does are real. Then I saw the match-up to the real painting, and knew that it was real. I now believe that drawing something that real on an ipad is totally possible.
Question 1.
I think it is possible to make that drawing on only an iPad. I say this because in this generation, technology has grown so much. THe drawing apps we download, lets us do art, the way we would do on a piece of paper. To make a complex drawing on an iPad, i very hard. So you must have a lot of patience.
Question 2.
No it does not change my thinking, that you can draw a complex or easy drawing on the iPad. This video just expressed my thinking more.
Question 3.
By seeing another example ( the cat ), it shows mea better process of making a drawing so realistic, that it looks like a photo.
Question 4.
I believe it is possible to make something so realistic on a iPad. The article states that Morgan Freeman Finger Painting was real. They proved it with a app that compares pixels between the two images. Only a few parts of the painting was exact, from the original photo.
Q1-I think that it is only possible to create that drawing with only an iPad because the painting looks like
Morgan Freeman took a picture of himself.
Q2-It changes my thinking that i see Kyle's hand on the iPad actually doing the art work
Q3-My idea of possibility changes seeing another example because i like to see realistic art work.
Q4-I say yes because technology is so advanced now.
Miguel G
I think its cool to create something amazing in Ipad, you need to have skills and courage. Watching these two videos totally change my thinking.
Morgan Freeman painting is real.
Viewing Kyle Lamberts i have better understanding.
Have a Wonderful New year
I think that it is possible to create these drawings on an iPad. Modern technology is very advanced and is probably advanced enough to reinforce artist's pieces. However, before I had seen the second video, I did not know if his drawing was a fake or not, since the video did not show Kyle Lambert's hand actually drawing the picture.
After I saw the second video, I was convinced that Kyle Lambert was not drawing fake pictures and letting the computer draw for him. My opinion changed because you could see his hand drawing and because you could see him picking out the colors. Then when I read the article, I was fully assured that his drawing of Morgan Freeman was not a fake. I think it is not a fake because when they compared his drawing with the original picture of Morgan Freeman, there were only a handful of pixels that were the same.
When I looked at the picture at the beginning of the video I said to myself "Hey, that's a real nice photograph!" But I didn't really believe it was a drawing. Now that I saw the second video you could totally believe it was real because you could see Kyle Lambert's finger doing the work and you're like okay... I think its his actual drawing! By watching this video I now think anything possible with an Ipad including walking around the house with robotic legs and doing your chores!
I do indeed think that it is possible to make great art like the Morgan freeman art or the kitten drawing. We can do so much more with technology today. Its much more advanced today.
The second video convinced me that the video that Kyle Lambert made was NOT fake. The only reason my opinion changed that the computer did not draw it for him was because I saw his fingers drawing. But it is still questionable because it does not seem like the drawing style he showed in the Morgan freeman drawing. It could be fake, but then again, it could be real.
I first thought the video was fake. but then I saw the video the second one. That was awesome how I got to see the person actually doing it not like the other one but knowing It can be improbable. I got to see the article and I knew that something was going on. So now I think it is actually possible.
I do think it's possible to create such an image on the iPad. I think this because with our technology today, almost anything is possible. Though before I saw the second video, I had mixed opinions on weather it was real or fake, and hen I read the article, It made me even more sure that this was real. Now that I watched the two videos and read the article, I think that anything can be created using an iPad!
At first I thought it was fake because the painting of Morgan Freeman showed strands of hair and distinctive features that would usually be worked by photography. Now that I've seen the second video I think that the painting is less fake because now you can actually see him doing it.In the end I do think it's possible because if it was the best then it wold be identical to the photo
Brisa K
Question 1
When I saw the first video I was almost completely sure it was fake. I didn't think their was an app that would allow us to make drawings so realistic! Plus all the little details he was adding looked so small and little, I thought for sure it was just a copy of the real picture edited a little.
Question 2 and 3
After watching the second video it changed my mind almost completely. After seeing someone making a picture and really seeing the hands, it showed me that if you have a lot of patience and talent it is actually possible to create such a picture. It also showed me that there is such a app that has modern tools that can help to create this kind of drawing
Question 4
After reading the article and watching the videos, yes I think it is possible to create such a realistic drawing. If you really have the tools technology as well as patience, it is possible to create a drawing with just a finger and a ipad.
Marvin H.
Question 1.
When I saw this video I was stunned at the final product of the drawing on the ipad of Morgan Freeman, then I started to think it was fake. However when I watched the video again my thoughts changed, I think that if Kyle Lambert put his mind up to the task and believed he could do it. Technology is so precise and if he had the patients to draw this. I think that it's real.
Question 2-3.
When I saw Kyle Lambert's hands on the ipad it made me more convinced that it was real. I saw how careful, patient and skillful he was and it made me think that anything is possible if you put your mind to it.
Question 4.
Reading this article and watching these videos it leads me to think that Kyle Lambert didn't stage this art, I think he looked at the pictures of a Morgan Freeman and a cat and put his mind to the task. In the article it shows Kyle Lambert's art piece and the photo of Morgan Freeman and it shows that he didn't copy the picture here is the quote that I took about the article " We fired up Black Pixel's Kaleidoscope app to see if it could spot any differences between the original photograph and the painted image. Kaleidoscope has an Image Scope tool that's designed just for this purpose -- it'll reveal differences between images that can't be seen with the naked eye."
In conclusion I think that these drawings are real
I thought the painting of Morgan Freeman was real at first because all the details that an artist can use. But when I saw the second vidio I thought that the painting of Morgan Freeman was totaly fake because I actually saw the person who was making it. Now that I saw the 2 vidios I think it's possible for some people to make those paintings on the ipad!
I think this might be possible on another type of tablet. This painting relies a lot more on the app, Procreate, than the iPad it was created on. Seeing Mr. Lambert's hands on the iPad does not change my thinking because I always believed in him. Seeing hands on the iPad only increased my trust in the fact that this painting is real. My idea of possibilities after watching these two videos is endless. Maybe when I get older this idea that these paintings are real might not be so unheard of. Having watched these two videos and having read that article I still think this kind of thing is completely possible.
At your Computer Lab when you showed the class the Kyle Lambert video I thought that he actually drew that picture of Morgan Freeman, but when I got home and I told my dad, he showed me the video and after he told me that his friend knows the person took the original photograph and told me that Kyle Lambert just traced the original painting. So I thought it was a picture that he drew, but after I knew that he just traced the picture.
The second video I knew he really drew because it had the characteristics of a drawing.
I think that the Morgan Freeman video was fake from the previous reason. I think he did a really good job on "The Cat" video. I really don't think a human being by its self can make a drawing as realistic as a photograph.
After watching the first video I was a bit skeptical that such a precise and magnificent piece of art work could be conjured up with only a finger and an Ipad .After watching the second video I felt as if all the evidence needed to tell that such a drawing could be made from an Ipad was exhibited . I then read the article and became once more curious about the drawing , based on what people were saying . Although I felt that way as I continued reading proof was again exhibited and it was obvious that these drawings could be made with only an Ipad and a finger . Even thought this is true it is also obvious that only an artist with an amazing talent could produce such a pulchritudinous painting .
Question1: Yes I think is possible because technology came a long way and I saw a Guy draw Morgan Freeman on a ipad.
Question2:No my thinking remain the same. I think it is and was always possible.
Question 3: No I believe technology will be bigger and better.
Qustion4: Wow reading the article it made me think is it really real. Was both videos fake. I'm at shock.
I think that both technology and the human mind are advancing, so the tools of creativity can allow things like the Morgan Freeman picture to happen. But really, creativity is the thing making this possible. I thought the Morgan Freeman thing was incredible, and has totally raised the bar for artists, and really annoyed a bunch of 4 year old finger painters. But, I could see the characteristics of a painting in it. You know, like lining up the base coat to find that purrfect color (sorry, I had to). And with the cat video, that guy has to go back and touch up every single part of the cat, from it's ears to its nose. I'm blown away. I'd like to see what art and advancements come from 2014, Happy holidays and good health in the new year
I think it would be possible to make that drawing with only an iPad. It does not change my thinking now that I saw his hands on the iPad, seeing another video would not change my mind. It is truly possible to create both drawings with only an iPad, but it would also take a lot of time and practice.
1. I thought it wasn't possible to draw a really HD picture. But now I know that it is possible. I've only seen drawings that were as HD as the first 10 sec of the video. When I saw the video, I was so amazed that I have my mouth hanging open while I do this blog.
2. My thinking doesn't really change now that I see his hands on the iPad.
3. I think every body can do a drawing on an iPad like that now if you keep on practicing.
4. I still think it's possible to draw something that realistic. The article showed that only a few pixels were correct.
In the Morgn Freeman video I didn't think that it was possible because of how so professionally it was done. Also how good it looked. When I seen the video with the cat it look more like it was sketched on paper. It did change my thanking when I seen the video with the finger in it because it shows how you can see how it looks from step 1. By watching and reading I see that it is possible to have an app that does such a magnificent job.
Question 1:
When I first saw the Morgan Freeman video I thought it was a fake. I thought this because the resemblance seemed perfect, too perfect, like someone had just copied and pasted a picture of Morgan Freeman into the program.
Question 2:
When I actually saw Kyle Lambert use his hands on the the screen in the second video it helped me believe that the first video was real. It also helped me understand how Lambert made the tiny little details.
Question 3:
My idea of possibility did change when I saw the second example. I say this because the second video really proved how by using different tools you can create wonderful things.
Question 4:
In conclusion, I think it is possible to create something so realistic with only a finger and an iPad.
Q 1
I think that the Morgon Freemen video is real because the man that drew the painting could have been a really good artst.
Q 2
My answer is still the same even if the first video was not showing a hand
Q 3
Once agian i did not need another video to make me belive because that was my feeling from the start.
Question 1:
At first, I thought it was fake.
Question 2:
Looking at the hands on video, I changed my mind.Because when you zoom in and do all the tiny details.
Question 3:
I dont think it is possilbe to make a PERFECT replica of a picture so with the iPad, it's lees likely.
Question 4:
I think it is possible but would take a lot of time and patience.
Question 1:
Yes I do think that it is truly possible to create that drawing with only an iPad.
Question 2:
No it does not change my thinking because even though you don't see the hand in the first video it doesn't mean that a hand wasn't used to paint Morgan Freeman on an app.
Question Three:
Even though I watched the other video, it's just the same thing because I believe that anyone, can do anything, with any gadget!
Final Question:
I think it's possible to create something so realistic with just a finger and an iPad!
Question 1:
I am not sure whether it could be real or not because it could be real because it showed how he did it, but it also cannot be true because it might been just really clever illusion.
Question 2&3:
It helps because you actually saw her hand and it show as all the parts how he/she does the painting. It changes what I first thought because the video shows the person drawing the picture a more therow way.
Question 4:
I believe this drawing by hand could be done on an iPad. I think this way of art is really COOL!!!
Answer 1: No, I do not think it is possible to create a drawing that looks so real. He could of just copied and pasted.
Answer 2: No, I still don't think it is possible. The pauses makes me a little suspicious. But it is amazing.
Answer 3: No, I still don't believe it, it just does not look possible. The pauses makes me think they are doing something in between to make it look real.
Answer 4:no, I do not think it is possible.
I think it is possible to create a drawing like that on an iPad because he took his time and used skill. No it does not change my thinking because if he took his time and did the drawing with care, then he can draw a picture the way he wants to. My idea of what can be done with a computer art program would not change if I saw another example because these programs are supposed draw the same way that you would on your own. Yes I think it is possible to create a picture on the iPad because it is a very precise tablet. The article shows you that the picture was not all accurate but it was alike. The video of the Morgan Freeman drawing did not show his hands but the test in article shows its possible that it was made by hand.
Unni I.
Question 1#
At first I saw a glimpse of what it would look like and though that it was utterly impossible. When I watched the video i remembered that my cousin Charlotte also drew very realistic drawings on the ipad. And believed that someone drew it.
Question 2#/3#
Seeing Kyle Lamberts hands did not change my opinion because I already had my stand that the Morgan Freeman portrait was real.
Question 4#
My final stand is that is possible to create an amazing piece of art like that. But with some help from Kyle Lamberts skill and some remarkable 21 century technology.
Q:1 Yes, I think it is possible to paint this picture on an iPad but I still have my doubts.
Q:2 Yes, it changes my thoughts now that I see someones hands.
Q:3 Yes, I now have much less doubts on Q 1
Q:4 I think it is possible to create Morgon Freemans picture because in the article it shows that it only looked perfect to the human eye. However a computer shows how far off it really is.
Question 1: Yes, I do think it is possible to make this drawing with only an iPad, and a lot of skill. If you just copied and pasted it, how would you see the brush strokes?
Question 2: No, it just proves that this is real even more.
Question 3: I still think it is possible to draw the cat and man on the iPad.
Question 4: Yes, I believe that it is possible to create these drawings with an iPad. How could you even paste something on those apps?
I think that both of the final pictures are real, but I'm doubting the Morgan Freeman sketch. It seems that as we go on through the years, people are making robots to do things just like them, and so I suppose a file hacked into an iPad could create that picture. But it may not be true, because when Kyle Lambert zoomed in to get more detailed,
you can see the gritty texture that a file or robot can't really replicate; the robots are made to make perfection.
And yes, I can see that you can make a finger painting on a tablet look like a photo. If you use the smallest brush, zoomed in all the way, it should be nearly perfectly realistic.
And, according to the article, the 2 images, one by Lambert, the other one a photograph, you can tell even without the kaleidoscope that many things are different; the shade is noticeable and the hair is slightly darker and seems to have a few more strands than in the picture.
I think it's very possible, but also very hard. You must be a really good painter, and have nimble fingers to do something like that. It does not really change my thinking. I thought it was real from the start, now he's proves it with showing how he did it with his hands. Seeing these two videos I think a whole new art process will form. I think a lot of new, young artist will do something like Kyle did.
1. Yes some one can make that with a finger and an iPad and I know this because I play this game called draw something 2 and I watch people from all over the world draw even better things than the drawings that I just saw. And if they can make better pictures than this I these people can make something just as good.
2. No after seeing this persons hands it makes no difference for my answer.
3. It might change my answer because it had little stops and someone very talented could have came in and changed every thing BUT even though the little stops made my think, I still bellive that somebody drew that cat.
4. Nothing could change my answer because people could do that and just do it with a finger and an iPad. Also technology never ever will stop improving and that's my reason that someone could have drawn both of those drawings!
Question 1: No, I do not think it is possible to create a drawing that real because the detailing and the texture is so exact that I don't believe anyone could draw it.
Question 2 : Yes, it does change my thinking. The video proved how one could draw an extremely realistic image on an ipad.
Question 3: No, my idea of possibility does not change.
Question 4: Yes , I do. With 3 sources to prove it, I do think that it is possible.
I do not think it is possible to create a painting on the iPad. I think this is not possible because to paint you need a canvas and actual paint, but on the iPad app all you need is your finger and the app. Also, the out come of the art after it is created is a print out.
It does change my thinking now that I saw another example. The second video also made me change my opinion because you could see the tools he used. However, my thinking did not change because I saw his hands on the iPad.
After reading the article and watching the two videos I think it is possible to create some thing realistic on a iPad. I think this because you really draw and paint on the iPad because you have all the materials, it just costs less! Also you must do the same steps as doing it on really paper.
When I watched the first video I said to myself this can't be real,
this is exactly what Morgan Freeman looks like, and this is just a
fraud. Then, when I saw the second video with the hands my opinion
changed from "This is fake" to "I can't believe that he can draw on
the Ipad, I totally believe it."
Watching the two videos and reading the article I think that it is
really cool that you can draw like that on the Ipad. I believe that it
is possible to draw on the Ipad. Of course if the all the pixels
exactly matched up I wouldn't believe any of it, but being that only
some matched up I believe it.
1. I think this is possible by the Ipad. I think the few tiny flaws in his work showed that.
2. No. I thought that it was real from the start
3. At first I wasn't sure but I was sure after the second video
4. After reading the article and watching the video I was sure it was real
At first I thought "ok nice photo" But when I clicked on the video and saw the that it was a painting, no way. But then I read the article and saw the proof and I realized that human technology is creepy and cool at the same time. Seeing the hands did change my thinking a lot.I actually thought it was real from the beginning. No my possibility mark did not change for iPad painting. The Morgan Freedman painting was so much more detailed painting. I mean you are drawing a human hear. But I did like the cat painting better.
I have seen manny cool things on the internet like cool facts I didn't know and how if you want to see something or learn the modern computer does it all with power point and word kids my age (10+) can do work that would almost be impossible to do with pencil or pen so the modern computer can give us more Possibility and Opportunity
Question 1: yes I do think if is possible to create this drawing with an iPad.
Question 2: no it makes me believe even more that it is possible.
Question 3:no I still think that it is possible to draw something so realistic on an iPad.
Question 4: yes it is possible to draw something so realistic on an iPad because the article says that only a few pixels were the exact same as the image.
When I first saw the Morgan Freeman Finger Painting, I thought whoever made it just took a picture of Morgan Freeman and did a photoshop thing to make it look like they "painted it". Once I saw the Kitten Sketch, though, I realized it was real, which fascinated me. The idea of possibility definitely changed by seeing another example.
1. Yes, first I thought it was fake but then I saw him doing it by step. I thought the morgan freedom drawing was cool because that took 200 hours and that is long and so I am surprised that he did that for so long.
2. Yes, because it made me think it was fake, but then I saw his hand.
3.Yes it did, because I saw his his hands.
4. For sure because I think that I saw the article and the videos.
I believe the picture of Morgan Freeman was just a photo, which Kyle Lambert modified to make it not exactly perfect, so people would think it was a painting. And people would believe it was not a photo even more if it was done by someone who was a very good artist, someone like Kyle Lambert. And he could prove he was a very good artist by showing people the kitten sketch, which he actually drew on the iPad.
1) I think it is possible to make that picture, but it would take a long time.
2) I think it is still possible, but if they were to mess up it would take a longer time to get it perfect.
3) My idea of possibility did not change after seeing both drawings being done.
4) After reading the article I think that he took the picture off the internet and said it was a painting. The painting looks so real. It looks like they just put a photo there. I don’t think a painting would look that real.
i don't think drawing Morgan freeman so neatly is possible unless you are a robot. all those tiny details are impossible to make by the human hand. When I watched the vid, I thought that a special machine was drawing this for the person so that they can use it in the vid. You would have to be very very very talented to draw so well and even is you are, you won't be able to draw so amazingly.
Best wishes- A
