Last week we did our first lesson about Twitter and how to post a tweet. Today we did a quick review.
I would like you to comment with answers to a few questions. This is a bit of a quiz on some of the terms we learned last week as well as a personal reflection.
Here are the questions (the first 6 are short answer, the last 2 are extended response)...
- what is the # symbol called?
- if you are tweeting for the lab what # will you always use?
- what are the 3 PS10 #s?
- how many characters can a tweet be?
- do pictures count as characters?
- what is the Computer Lab Twitter name?
- what do you think about Twitter?
- what are your thoughts about instantly publishing your work to the world?
Please answer all the questions. You are allowed to answer 1-6 as simple, short, responses. 7 & 8 need more detail in full & complete sentences.

2. You will always be using # for "student work" (st.)
3. The three P. S. 10 hashtags are "sw" (student work), "st" (student tweet) and last is "ps10tech"
4. The amount of characters you are allowed to do is 140.
5. Yes, because of the link because it's words and they count as characters.
6. I don't remember the name of the computer lab name for twitter.
7. I think twitter is cool because it's social and you get to share new things with your friends.
8. I think it's good because your sharing new things but it can also be bad because of cyber bullying and other people making fun of you discoveries.

7. I think Twitter is a good to share stuff, but I do not think it is not good because people can share bad stuff or not appropriate stuff.

2. If you are tweeting for the lab the # you will use is p.s.10/st I am not so sure about this.

5. Pictures count as characters. They mostly count as 20-30 characters.

2. When you tweet from the computer lab and you are a student you will always use the hashtag #P.S.1Ost standing for student tweet.
3. There are three different hashtags the one that we use is P.S.10st the next is P.S.10sw standing for student work the last is P.S.10bk standing for brooklyn.
4. On twitter we have to use a limited amount of characters the limit is 140 characters
5. There is a problem with twitter pictures count as characters so sometimes you can't use a picture.

7. i think twitter is a good idea but it needs some work like letting you have more characters or letting you have a picture without giving you more characters.
8. my last thought is that its a good idea to instantly publish your work to the world but you must be careful.
