I have never seen one of those ships in the harbor or anywhere else. My thoughts about this video are it was very interesting to see how they put cargo on the boat and built the boat. Another thought about the video is it was cool how they just put the cargo on the boat with a crane. One thing that stood out is the crane putting cargo on the boat and building it. This stood out in the night only it stood out because it was yellow and the yellow did not mix in with the dark sky. A thing that stood out in the daylight is the boats red and blue on white. It stood out because of the dark stripes on the boat.
I have never seen a big ship anywhere ever. I thought it was cool to see a real ship being built. One thing that stood out was all the huge parts because they were so huge
No, I have never seen a ship like that in the New York harbor. The ship looks like the Titanic a little bit. My thoughts of the video are that it was so cool seeing a ship being built in 76 seconds! It was so cool! One thing that stood out is all the cranes and machinery moving. It felt like I was there. It was so tense seeing the heavy machinery moving so fast! It got my heart all pumped up!
I have never seen a cargo boat on a harbor or any where else. One thing I thought that was cool about the video is that they built the boat on water not land. If I were building that ship I would not build It on water I would build it on land first. One thing that stood out was the yellow crane. I think that stood out is because the light yellow color kind of blinds in to the light blue sky. Except the light yellow color does not blind in to the dark sky.
Yes I have seen many of those ships.My thoughts about the video are; In my opinion the ships are bigger than the titanic by the way they look I've never seen the titanic up close! Another one of my opinions is; I noticed that the workers put the bout together in parts, instead of all together!

I have seen a large boat like a cruise ship in a harbor. I thought the video was very interesting and a good experience watching a boat being built in the water. One thing that stood out to me after the video is that the boat was really outstanding and big.
If I get on a boat or a ferry, I don't think a lot about how it was built, so I think that video was actually pretty cool. It's nice to learn the way a ship is built, and it was easy to see the birth of the construction because of the bright yellow color of the crane against the dark blue sky. I wonder how much effort it took to build that enormous cargo ship, and how pleased they are with the finished cargo ship.

I have seen the Intrepid if the Hudson river counts. I thought it was cool how the workers put the boat together piece after piece after piece. One thing that stood out for me is when they were building the seats.

I have seen two big ships.I have seen the Intrepid in Manhattan and the Navy ship called USS Rosevelt.

Where were all those big pieces coming from? I noticed that the water went away and came back so they could bring in the pieces. There was a dam to keep the water from coming in. This is called a dry dock.

My thought about that video is how long it takes to build it and how big was it last but not least is how large it was.the most thing that stood out after watching the video is how large it is.
I have never seen one of those ships being built but I have seen a big cruse ship leave the harbor.I think it was interesting how you saw the ship actualy leave. You could also see the cargo going on the ship there were many interesting details but those two were the most noticeable.
I've seen these shows called Cake Boss and Top Chef where these cake designers go on a cruise ship and chefs too. I've seen cruise ships at New York City docks.
I have never been on one, but they look fun.The thing that stood out the most was the lock and the channel.I like that because first there is no water in the channel,but when you open the lock the water is in the channel.

I have never seen a container ship but I have seen the intrepid ship. In the video what really stood out to me was that the people that worked on it worked on it and didn't stop working. I wanted to know if they worked at night because in the video it didn't show anyone working at night.

Yes I have seen a very large boat. No I have not been on a cruise before. No I have not seen a ship being built on New York harbor but I like the video it was about the builders making a big cruise ship for packages to be delivered to different places.
I have seen 3 boats like this in Michigan. One was 500 feet and the other 2 were 1,000 feet. I think the video was cool because when they put the lock in all the water the water just dissapear. The thing that cought my eye was the big yellow crane.

Sometimes I see those ships in the summer when I usually go to Hawaii to visit my grandparents. Something I noticed was that the ship, I think, was made in Korea or another Asian country. One thing that stood out to me was how the workers built the ship even at night. Another thing was how many days it took to build the ship in all. Watching the video it looked like it took a few days. I'm not sure though how many days it really took to build that ship.

I also think that it's smart to work around the clock on the ship, they probably did this because they could of been paid a lot to build that ship. I think the best thing I learned was how the ship is built, they slide one part of the ship into another to build the ship.

From a distance, I have seen cargo ships like the one in the video coming into the harbor at Breezy Point at Queens. I really liked the video because it showed me a cargo ship up close, and I have only seen one from a distance. The thing that stood out the most after viewing the video was the big cranes putting piece after piece of the ship together like a puzzle.
P.S.: I have seen a ship in dry dock too. It was called the USS Cassin. I saw it in the Boston Naval Shipyard during the spring break. I did not go on it because the park rangers were cleaning it out. The Cassin was in the bombing of Pearl Harbor, Hawaii.

Overall the video was great, it was really cool how could see the light changing in the background . The biggest boat I've ever seen is a garbage barge I used to see them a lot when I biked to the Little Red Lighthouse (I used to live in Harlem).
The biggest ship I've ever seen is the Intrepid. The Intrepid is a Space and ship museum. I think the Intrepid is bigger than the ship in the video. The Intrepid is in Manhattan.

I have never seen a new york harbor ship (or anywhere else). My thoughts were that the new york harbor ship took a very long time to make, and why did they build a plat form for the ship and then take it apart? I really like the music. The music stood out to my ears.

when me and my mom saw the video we were amazed by how much people it took to build the boat. also how they managed to put pieces of the boat together. they moved sections into what parts the builders needed it to be in which is the one thing that stood out to me after watching the video. yes i have seen a boat like this in ny harbor but it also looks like a war ship.

When my parents are driving on a bridge I see these boats.
I thought the video went very fast.It was hard to understand how they where buiding the cargo ship because of the speed of the video. One of my thoughts are when they were building the boat it looked like a bridge moving over the boat.

And i saw a cargo boat that looked exactly like the largest ship in the video. i liked the video because the ship looked like the Titanic. One thing that inspired me from the video is that they had a lot of cranes that carried iron and the boat had a lot of compartments and they stacked them.

I've seen those ships before in New York. But it was not in New York harbor but in Kill Van Kull river in Staten Island. My thoughts about the video are... I liked how they used tug boats to bring in that water lock and then drained out the water (that was cool to). And I also like the finishing paint job it was funny. They make it all look so easy but I know it is not! What stood out to me the most after I watched the video is that they built it in sections. And I think that is very smart because if they didn't build it in sections then they would be building a big metal frame and that would take a lot longer and be harder to do. And building it in sections requires less workers,cost and time to do.
