3rd Graders,
Yesterday was the 2010 PS 10 Field Day, with a "Recycling" theme.
For this assignment you will post your thoughts on the day as comments to this blog. There are specific questions to answer at the bottom of this post.
Think about yesterday, all the games and activities. This assignment asks you to reflect on your experience and to think about ways to make the Field Day bigger and better for 2011.

Field day was great I loved the sponge game and I love the 3 legged races it was fun. I did not like the thought that kids wanted to win but I wanted to play for fun, I likes this field day better than last year.
I loved field day I loved the part when we had to make a tower out of recycling cans and bottles it was the best field day ever.
I love field day it is fun but I wish they had let us eat lunch longer. I also wish that they the porta pottys because had to go to the bathroom.
I thought field day was great. My favorite activity was the sponge toss because we all got to get wet and cool off. My least favorite activity was was hockey because when I was hitting the the ball it wasn't moving.
today was field day it was fun I like when we got wet because it was so hot my lest fraoite game is the hake for the next year for recal we should put garbeg some where we cane fined it and we have to fined it and put it in the holahup we hade so muche fun.
My favorite activity was the water with the sponge. We had to get the sponge from inside the bucket and whoever got the sponge gets water in the back of their head. We had to make a tower full of garbage and knock it down.

I thought FIELD day was fun because the games were
fun.
My favorite game was the two leg race because I was with my friend.
I think the theme whould be globle warming.
I thought field day was so cool because we played a lot of games.One of them was we got to soak our selfs with water.
I thought Feild Day was not fun and was boring. I did not any of the activitys because it had no fun but my least favorite activity was the bubles and the recycling. I think Feild Day should have Baseball so we can use more energy ,sweat more and dont think we always have to win.I think I am going to bring my baseball glove and baseball again.
I thought field day was great it was really fun. My favorite activity was the sponge game. the sponge game was mt favorite game because you get to pour water on you I thought it was fun and it felt good and refreshing. My least favorite game was the hockey game. I didn't know how to play hockey I thought it was hard.I think next year for the theme could be "climbing"
I really enjoyed field day because we got to do a lot of games it went great and I thought it was really fun my favorite game was when we passed a sponge and the last person had to wet her/him.
today was flied day. me and my class had a blast. my favorite was when we had to put spouges in our heads with water becase it felt a really great time getting wet it was like going to beach.

Field day was fun because we did a lot of fun staff.I like the one that you have to wet somebody with the sponge. I did not like the one that is almost like hockey.

Field Day was awesome.I enjoyed it a lot! My favorite activity was the sponge activity because it cooled me off.My least favorite activity was the hockey activity because I got hot and sweaty.A good idea for next year is I Spy recycling.Field Day was the best day of my life!!!
I liked the theme of field day.My favorite event was the the three leged race.I like it because you had to cooperate with someone.My least favorite event was the trash tower.I didn,t like it because the tower kept falling down.A good theme would be rock.I thought there should be more games
On field day was very fun i enjoyed it alot.My favorite activity was sponge soak activity because it cool me from the sun.My least favorite game is the hockey activity cause it was hard to hit it in the grass.For next year game to play is kickball.That was the best day ever!

Yes I enjoy field day .My favorite activity was the sponge race because the last person on the back needed to squeeze water with the sponge.MY least favorite activity is the spoon and the tin foil egg because it kept on falling on the grass it was hard.The theme could be a hand sport next year.

These are my thoughts on field day....
I liked field day because they added alot detail to every single game.My favorite game was sponge soak because it was burning hot and in sponge soak you could get wet.My least favorite game was build a trash tower because it was basily putting trash on top of each other.For next year I think they could add a can tower game and also they could add a few mores like 1-2 games.My final thought of the day is it was great.I think we could avoid the 3 legged race because somone could get hurt.What we could do again was the sponge soak and the egg race.
I thought field day was fun because we played all different games. But I thought that the egg on the spoon race was to easy. and we needed more water games. My favorite activity was the three legged race because it was all about co-operation.
My least favorite event was the egg on the spoon race because the tin foil stayed on the spoon and would not come off unless you turned the ladle upside down.A theme next year could be all about water.Next year we should avoid the egg on the spoon race and the hockey game.Next year we should do the three legged race again.
I liked Field Day because when a group of kids left each station, another group took our place.That way, everyone got a turn at everything.My favorite activity was the Sponge Soak, because we got to get wet.My least favorite activity was the Buble Mania, because everyone was runing around poping bubles.

These are my thoughts on field day I thought that the day went very well i enjoyed the activities my favorite activity was the sponge soaking because it was a good way to cool off from a hot day cause we were doing a lot of running around my least favorite was when we had to toss the recyclable stuff in the blue bin and the non recyclable stuff in the red bin and the paper in the green bin I think the theme for next year should be sports or relay races I think we should have more water games if its hot and 3 legged race again.

It but the three legged race was cruel because
my partner keep on running fast so I keep on tripping.I liked the sponge soak game because it was hot and I couldn't stand it so when I squeezed the water on my head it refreshed me.
I think that field day was really cool because the activities were fun. I also think the games were very creative. But the sponge game because it was so hot out and when it was my turn I felt like I was at a water park.MY least favorite game was the one where you had to throw the right material in the hoops because the hoops were to far away.I would suggest for next year is every station has a game from a diffrent contrie.
My thoughts on field day are... I LOVED the 3 legged foot race because I enjoyed working together.My least favorite was the tinfoil race because it was to easy.My next theme would be superheroes.I think the whole thing was great!

it was so hard. my least favorite was when you had to make a tower out of garbage becase you were rushed to much.I think a good theme for next field day could be all about superheroes. I think we should have the sponge soak again and we should not have the garbage tower.

I think that field day was great the sun was shining and it was a beautiful day.Sponge soak was my favorite game because it was really hot outside and the was played to get wet and when it's hot outside I like to get wet.Trash tower was my least favorite game because you had to build the tower with out it falling down and that's hard to do.

I think field day was great but there were to many mosquitoes biting me.Bubble maniac was so fun I jumped up and down because making your own bubbles are fun.
